Contract Work – Realistic Evironment

Here are a few renders for a recent project I completed as an independent contractor. The project was for a major cabinet manufacturer in that needed to complete an ipad application for their sales team to use on the floor, in which utilized a new finish/product. The base models for the cabinets were supplied from an export from their software in which were essentially unusable. Most of the props were supplied or purchased by the client.

I was responsible for all lighting/rendering solutions utilizing 3ds Max 2012 with Mental Ray. The model modifications necessary for proper rendering and development included mesh cleanup/fixing, creating/fixing UVs and texturing, placement, and rescaling. I created several custom shaders for all the glass materials used for product options. I was also responsible for supplying transitional animations between all product points of interest which included major project and render management for hundreds of final renders.
